Tube Rentals
Tubing on the Rappahannock River is a fantastic way to enjoy the river and cool off from the hot days of summer.
Your day of tubing begins right at our facility on the river. You will float, swim, paddle, and splash your way to Old Mill Park, one mile downstream, where you will meet your shuttle driver.
The trip can take forty-five minutes to two hours, depending on the water level and how long your groups spends in the rapids. You may take as many trips as you like, we pick up tubers every hour starting at 12:30 PM. The last pickup is at 5:30 PM.
Below is a list of items that will make your trip more enjoyable:
Shoes that will stay on your feet. This is a requirement. Flip-flops will not stay on your feet and will get lost. Old tennis shoes, Teva-type sandals, aqua socks or wet suit booties have proven to be the best.
Bathing suit to wear in the river – you WILL get wet on your trip
Sunscreen
Dry clothes to put on after the trip
Water and Snacks
Because you are on a river tube, it is difficult to take anything along with you - unless in a cooler tube. If you leave most items in your car and get them between trips you will avoid losing them to the river. There are places to eat a bag lunch between trips or after your day of fun. Bring plenty of water to drink as the hot days of summer can dehydrate a person quickly.
