Rappahannock/Potomac River guided fishing trips

    Come enjoy a fantastic day of catching fish with Fredericksburg native Captain Juan Chaves. Juan has been fishing since the age of three years, and has a lifetime of amazing  fishing accomplishments. Since the mid 1990's Juan has been a guest speaker at many outdoor shows, has taught fly casting, saltwater fly fishing, guided for bonefish in the Bahamas, and has won or placed in the top 5 of many bass tournaments.  Guided trips are planned according to the client's wishes, and Juan specializes in bass fishing  and fly fishing. If you like, we can drift slowly down the gentle rapids of the Rappahannock, fly fishing or spin fishing for bass, bluegill and catfish, or spend an exciting day on the tidal Rappahannock or Potomac rivers fishing for good numbers of largemouth bass with a great chance of  fish up to 5 pounds or larger! All tackle can be provided or you may bring your own. Bring a lunch, drinks will be provided.

Canoe trips are limited to one adult and one child, bass boat trips may accommodate two adults. 

Rates are as follows;
  Fly fishing instruction $30 per hour (All equipment provided)
  Canoe trip, half day (4 hours) $75
  Canoe trip, full day (8 hours) $130
  Bass boat half day (4 hours) $125
  Bass boat full day (8 hours) $190
