Welcome to the Virginia Outdoor Center

Hidden as much as possible from the real world - here in what remains the woods of Fredericksburg, VA. We are a group of outdoor lovers that have been all over the country- boating, climbing, camping, hiking, and hanging out. We have returned to the 'Burg to bring all of that back home.

Fredericksburg is the diamond in the rough for the outdoor lovers. Want to spend the day relaxing on a pleasant river with no highway noise, and no buildings with smog pumping out of smoke stacks? Check out our canoe and kayak rentals on the Rappahannock River. Want to spend the day sitting on a sandy beach or crash for the night on a riverbank with only the sounds of the river to sooth your mind? Come to our 35-acre site with a riverfront beach and campsites. How about spending the day learning how to kayak the tidal waters of the Rappahannock River? Look at our Kayak Touring classes. Want to bring a group to spend the day learning how to communicate better and developing leaders? Spend the day on our Elements to Excellence Ropes Course.
