The race course for the Great Rappahannock Whitewater Canoe Race(GRWCR) will challenge and delight racers. The river will test their endurance with flat water, their mettle with a vigorous portage, and their skill with some of the best whitewater in the area! This race was purposely designed to be more fun than flat-out competition. Not to say there won't be some furious paddling, but everyone should have a good time and enjoy their day on the river! |

| NOTES: 1. NO DAM = NO PORTAGE! 2. Races are ACA sanctioned so helmets and life vests are required for all races. 3. ACA event membership has gone up from $5 to $10 per event. | |||
