Customer Service

Job Description

  • Welcoming people to our great facility
  • Telling people about the Rappahannock River and all the great trips available
  • Help people learn about their river experience and get them prepared
  • Manage equipment
  • Part Time and Full time available (April through September)
  • Up to seven days a week – based on your schedule

Required Skills

  • Ability to have fun and be comfortable spending time outside
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent people skills
  • Ability to multitask

Shuttle Driver

Job Description

  • Have fun getting people on the Rappahannock River 
  • Drive shuttle vehicles to transport people through wonderful river trips
  • Load and unload canoes/kayak/tubes and SUP boards from vehicles and trailers
  • Prepare people for their time on the water
  • Assist customers in and out of boats
  • Fit life jackets for customers
  • Part Time and Full time available (April through September) Full time (June through August) 
  • Up to seven days a week – based on your schedule

 

Required Skills

  • Ability to have fun and be comfortabe spending time outside
  • Able to load and unload Canoes, Kayaks, Stand up Paddle Boards, and other equipment 
  • Able to drive large vehicles with trailer (training provided, no CDL required)

Mountain Adventure School Counselor

Group 2

Job Description – Position Filled 2024

  • Spend the summer Canoeing, Kayaking, Climbing and enjoying the Rappahannock River
  • Lead 9 to 15 year old youth in adventure programming
  • Teach river swimming, river and water safety, and responsible river stewardship
  • Teach youth how to become outdoor leaders
  • Implement our ROCK culture (Respect, Observe, Communicate, Know)
  • Help kids build a life-long love for the outdoors
  • Programming lasts Memorial Day to Labor Day

 

Required Skills

  • Ability to communicate with kids 9 to 15
  • Ability to manage adventure activities on water and land
  • Able to drive vehicles with trailer (training available, no CDL required)
  • Prior outdoor skill knowledge and skills
  • Experience with youth program leadership
  • Activity training available
